报告人简介:蔡圆,香港科技大学研究助理教授。2018年博士毕业于复旦大学。博士期间曾访问美国纽约大学Courant研究所一年,并受邀请分别访问布朗大学、宾州州立大学。研究方向为流体力学中的偏微分方程,尤其是复杂流体方程组,在流体力学方程组整体解的粘性消失方面作出了重要的工作,在Comm. Pure Appl. Math., J. Math. Pures Appl., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., J. Funct. Anal.等国际著名杂志上发表学术论文。
报告摘要:This talk concerns the time growth of the highest-order energy of the systems of two dimensional incompressible isotropic Hookean elastodynamics. This two dimensional system is nonlocal quasilinear wave equations where the unknowns has slow temporal decay. By observing an inherent strong null structure, the global well-posedness of smooth solutions near equilibrium was first obtained by Lei where the highest-order generalized energy may have certain growth in time. We improve the result and show that the highest-order generalized energy is uniformly bounded for all the time.
